Welcome to the HUUB! The HUUB is a versatile community center in Orange, NJ, offering our various spaces for both short-term and long-term rentals. We have three spaces available to rent at our facilities for events and programs: the Parish Hall, the Sanctuary, and Hale House (the residential building next door).

Parish Hall

The Parish Hall serves as our primary event venue. This large space is equipped with our beautiful Tiffany “peace” window, a stage, seating, tables, and access to a kitchen and restrooms. The space can accommodate up to 125 people.

Sanctuary

Built in 1893, the Sanctuary is a historic and non-denominational space suitable for religious or spiritual services, lectures, concerts, and other events. It features a sound system, seating, a grand piano, a reed organ, and a small stage with a lectern. Restroom facilities are available. Kitchen use is possible pending availability. This space accommodates up to 125 people.

Hale House

The ground floor of Hale House offers a spacious living area that can be divided into two separate rooms and can accommodate up to 30 people. Restroom facilities are provided, making it suitable for smaller events, meetings, art exhibitions, concerts, and more.

Standard Rental Rates ( Additional Hour) 

Sanctuary:  $350 for a minimum 4-hour period ($75 per additional hour)

HUUB Hall: $350 for a minimum 4-hour period ($75 per additional hour)

Hale House: $40-75 per hour sliding scale

Damage Deposit & Insurance

A $200 refundable damage deposit is required. For larger events, we strongly recommend, and occasionally require, adding us as additional insured on a liability insurance policy and/or retaining additional event insurance.

Admin Fee:

A $25 administrative fee applies in all cases

Sliding scale for local community organizing

The HUUB offers a sliding scale rental option for community members and coalitions working on a limited budget and/or without formal institutional support. Please reach out to office@orangehuub.org and request a meeting with a member of our team to discuss.
